Current mandates and prospects require an increase in our workforce and lead us to seek a Project Management Office Lead who will take the lead of this highly strategic department. You will work directly with the company's president and the director of production, always prioritizing the human side at the heart of our thoughts and practices.

The Project Management Office Lead will play a key and strategic role in the current operations and business growth. He will be responsible for the operational aspect of the company's projects and will play a decision-making role in achieving business objectives.

Tasks and Responsibilities

Be a business partner to the President and the director of production to support them in their operational strategy.

Take part in the development of Appcom's vision and culture by being an ambassador of our values.

Be responsible for the well functioning of projects and the PMO, including project managers and the production teams themselves.

Oversee decision-making discussions related to the proper implementation of current and future projects and their prioritization.

Ensure customer satisfaction while ensuring deadlines and budget constraints.

Ensure the efficient running of production by prioritizing clients, projects, and resources according to contextual constraints.

Maintain an overview of current and future projects as well as their priority and risk level.

Develop good project management practices in collaboration with project managers and the team leader.

Review and improve collaboration processes to optimize the efficiency of internal teams.

Support various internal communication channels to ensure that information circulates properly.

Assist with internal management to achieve business objectives.

Ensure that delivered solutions and pre- and post-production services are consistent and meet the company's requirements.

We are looking for

A candidate with previous experience as a project office manager in an agency/development studio.

A person who works and manages his relationships with empathy, who recognizes himself in our culture and our values.

A person with the ability and ease to navigate in a constantly changing environment.

A person with rigor, attention to detail and great professional integrity.

A quality, service and results oriented person with analytical and problem solving skills.

Experience with Jira project management system or equivalent.

In-depth knowledge of different project management methodologies (Agile and Cascade)

Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and French.

Skills

Certification in project management (PMP) or equivalent.

Have a good understanding of the mobile, Web and software industry.

Possess technical knowledge (programming, design or UX).

Possess knowledge of ergonomics, navigation and user experience.
