Areas of expertise of the project

Interactive Map

The web application allows users to browse the entire federated quads network available to the FQCQ members. The application adapts to all kinds of screen sizes, by using efficiently all the space available, while maintaining a user-friendly experience on smaller screens. Its interactivity, the richness of its content and its powerful itinerary planning and searching tools gives the user a pleasant and complete experience. The interactive map attracts newcomers by giving them a portrait of the federation and is already an essential tool for accustomed users.

Online subscription website

The online Web subscription application fulfils the needs of both users of the map and business owners of the ATV industry. The maps of the Fédération Québécoise des Clubs Quads document more than 23,000 kilometers of federated trails on the entire Quebec territory and include a large number of points of interest and various shops related to ATVs.

The application fills a real need in the industry, particularly regarding the speed and efficiency of the registration process. It was previously very laborious to add a business on the federated maps. An owner had to communicate directly with the FQCQ or with a representative and send all the information manually. The payment had to be made by mail. The federation would receive the payment before adding the business on the maps and services guide. Consequently, many weeks could pass before a business showed on the interactive map.

Thanks to the online web subscription application, this whole process is now done online and automatically. By simplifying this process, this new application makes the FQCQ interactive map more accessible to business owners and thus improves the user experience. The interactive map is enhanced through the plurality and diversity of shops that appear in it.
